Jun 8, 2017 – Today, CamSoda, a leading adult entertainment webcam platform, announced the launch of “LifeStream,”a program that allows people to broadcast their candid lives – not necessarily sexual -- and to be compensated for it. CamSoda is the first adult entertainment company to officially enter into the live streaming craze made popular by Facebook, Instagram and SnapChat.
“Live streaming has quickly become a focal point of our society, with more people than ever broadcasting themselves to reach and connect with large audiences more intimately. Facebook, Snapchat, Twitter and Instagram have all capitalized on this burgeoning trend, rolling out livestreaming services of their own, and we’re excited to do the same – with a twist,” said Darren Press, VP, CamSoda. “Unlike other social media networks, where users choose the moments they want to broadcast and share, our offering broadcasts everything – from surfing the internet to eating lunch. It’s a true depiction of one’s life – and doesn’t require any nudity or sex – and we’re confident people want to share and watch it.”
In return for their participation, users receive a new state of the art rig, complete with one to three high-definition 720P webcams that are placed in different rooms in their home and broadcast 24/7. Fans can view the broadcast live on the CamSoda site at camsoda.com/lifestream. For those participating in the program, CamSoda will provide technology for free and for a limited time, pay them $200 per month and pay for their monthly internet bill.
In addition to the candid, uncensored life stream, participants will have the ability to encapsulate specific parts of their day in the form of stories, similar to those on Snapchat, Instagram and Facebook. Rather than tuning in 24/7, viewers can peruse through a performer’s story which will feature video sequences from the past 24 hours.
CamSoda is currently testing a virtual reality (VR) camera to bring a fully immersive experience to the masses. The company has plans to incorporate VR into LifeStream in the coming months. This will allow participants to share their experiences more intimately, enabling viewers to feel as though they are actually in the room with them.
Founded in 2014, CamSoda is the first adult entertainment webcam platform leveraging "Mobile-First" design with the best content in the industry. CamSoda features live broadcasts from industry superstars (like Gianna Michaels and Dani Daniels) to the girl next door. The site has voyeur cams throughout a house filled with models performing or just hanging out in the outdoor pool area, showers, game room, gym etc. Dubbed the CamSoda House, it now offers the first-ever interactive virtual reality experience that allows users to broadcast live adult entertainment directly to their headsets.
